CV Page

Mahara allows you to enter CV information and add this to your portfolio pages. This template provides an example of a CV page.

Work Placement Page

If you're on a work placement, Mahara is a great platform for logging your activities and reflecting on your experiences. You can create a page dedicated to your work placement and use the Journal tool in Mahara to write reflective posts. You could include photos and samples of work you've produced as evidence.

Work Showcase Page

You may wish to showcase some of your professional work in your Mahara portfolio. You can share these pages easily with potential employers and this can help to enhance your employability.

Research Page

You may choose to have a page in your portfolio to document your research interests. You could provide links to any journal articles or papers you've written to support your research, for example. The ability to add rich media to your portfolio pages means you can add almost anything - videos, images, RSS feeds and more.

CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

You might wish to create a page to log your CPD activity. You can include details about things such as professional training, achievements and even conference papers you've written. You may wish to outline your CPD goals as well as reflect on what you have already done.

It's a great tool for creating a dialogue and mapping evidence against a set criteria.
